Multiple Specialist Printers/Packers
We work with specialist card printers with the availability of more than 5 x B1 6 colour presses and 1 x B1 4 colour press. This is to avoid supply bottlenecks or even machine breakdown problems impacting on delivery schedules.
All our printers are ISO14001 accredited. To meet this standard our suppliers must work to a systematic framework to manage the immediate and long-term environmental impacts of products, services and processes. Our printers are also ISO9001 certified.
Zero 2 Landfill Foil - Our printers are signed up to the 0% waste to landfill scheme. This means all their production waste continues to be separated into specific recycling waste streams. This enables waste to be disposed of in a safe and responsible manner
Packaging 2 Recycling – This is the UK carton and print industries scheme which some of our printers are signed up to. It is backed by BPIF Cartons who work towards the promotion and use of sustainable carton board packaging in industry.
Our printers are also Sedex members. Sedex is the world’s largest collaborative platform for sharing responsible sourcing data on supply chains, used by more than 40,000 members in over 150 countries.
UK Supply
In order to manage large scale card production for charities we have developed a specifically tailored supply chain.
This is spread across multiple UK printers and packing houses that can manage large scale Christmas card and everyday card production.
Because reputational risk is a serious concern for our customers (and also for us) we have always printed and packed our cards in the UK. This means our cards travel less, are better controlled and are produced in properly regulated environments to the highest standards.
Our main concern is to deliver quality cards, on-time, ethically produced and that our customers can be proud of.
Why UK production?
This means we guarantee the highest standards of supply for our customers whilst having the least harmful impact on the environment.
Packing.
We use several packing houses that are experts in charity card projects and preparing product for retail. All our packers work with proper employment contracts with full holiday and sickness pay entitlement in well managed work environments.
Tailored Logistics.
Delivering into a volunteer-led high street retail shop for example requires a much more tailored and thoughtful approach.
Tailored Logistics
Delivery to charity outlets can be challenging with each of our customers requiring a bespoke delivery service. We are able to accommodate everything from delivery to a single warehouse to collating shop unit delivery to hundreds of retail outlet across the UK.
Our specialist couriers recognise the need for a customised delivery approach into shops that are often volunteer-led. Depending on requirements, this can be anything from off-loading and delivering into store by hand, to ringing shops ahead of dispatch to ensure deliveries are made at a time convenient to shop managers.
